It reads in about six minutes at an unhurried pace. There is no music to keep up with, no standing and kneeling, and no point where the text asks you to answer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bf-p\">The low-Mass form is the plainest of the Church&#8217;s forms: spoken rather than sung, stripped of ceremony, historically the shape of a weekday morning in an empty church. Publishing it in text keeps that plainness intact and adds one thing the old form never had &mdash; you can stop in the middle, put the phone down, and come back at two in the morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bf-p\">Sunday is different in kind, not merely in length. Mass is offered in the Roman Rite of 1962 within this church&#8217;s own Independent Catholic tradition, and the closing blessing is given as Bloom&#8217;s own pastor. What to expect at church on a Sunday is a fuller text, the propers of the day, and a homily that will name what is happening to you and people like you rather than talking around it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bf-p\">Neither of these is a stream, a video call, or a meeting.
