The church that told you to leave could not revoke it and did not. What often needs repair is the paperwork, and that this church can do. In those cases the Church has always used conditional baptism: the rite is celebrated with the express condition that it takes effect only if the first one did not. It is not a second baptism and it is not a correction of the first.<\/p>\n    <p class=\"bf-p\">The Chancery explains this before it is celebrated, never after, and it goes into the register as conditional. Nobody is told their childhood was erased.
