A founding partner of a nonprofit program, for good.<\/h2>

Founding Partner is a title Bloom Swap gives to five organizations, once, and keeps.<\/p><\/header>\n

The first five organizations to take the Founding Partner tier in 2026\u201327 are Bloom Swap\u2019s Founding Partners. Each is acknowledged on this page permanently, in the same plain form as every acknowledgment Bloom makes: the organization\u2019s name, its locations and its web address. If a Founding Partner renews, the benefits of the tier continue. If it does not, the benefits end with the paid year, and the designation stays exactly where it is.<\/p>\n

That is the whole bargain. Bloom Swap is a new program, and the organizations that fund its first years carry more of the risk of something new than anyone who arrives once the racks are full and the calendar is set. The designation records that. It cannot be bought later at any price, and after the fifth organization, the title closes.<\/p>\n

Bloom does not list organizations it is talking to, organizations that have expressed interest, or organizations it hopes to sign. Five places are shown because five exist, and each one is filled from the partner record, never typed into this page.<\/p><\/div><\/section>

An advisory seat<\/p>

The Founding Partners Council.<\/h2>

Each Founding Partner holds a seat on an advisory council. It advises; it does not govern.<\/p><\/header>\n

The Founding Partners Council is an advisory body. It carries no fiduciary duty, no vote on the Board, and no compensation. It convenes twice a year to advise on Bloom Swap\u2019s expansion, the Directory\u2019s business-facing standards, and employer pathways for the people Bloom serves.<\/p>\n

The Council exists because the organizations that serve Bloom\u2019s community know things Bloom needs to hear: which cities need a swap next, what a business-facing standard in the Bloom Directory should ask of an employer, and where the people Bloom serves could find good work. A seat is an invitation to say so, twice a year, in the room where those plans are made.<\/p>\n

A seat on the Council is not a seat on the Board. Bloom Ministries is governed by its Board of Directors<\/a>, and no payment of any size buys a place on it or a vote in it. Keeping the two apart protects the Board from a conflict of interest on every question that touches a partner, and it protects a partner from ever being asked to vote on its own sponsorship.<\/p><\/div><\/section>

A named fund<\/p>

The Safe Passage Grant.<\/h2>

The Founding Partner tier funds one complete relocation a year, in the partner\u2019s name.<\/p><\/header>\n

Part of every Founding Partner payment is set aside for one complete relocation a year through Bloom\u2019s Trans Relocation Fund<\/a>, from the first conversation to the new front door. Each grant is named for the partner that funds it: the partner\u2019s name, then Safe Passage Grant. The IRS permits a charity to name a fund after a sponsor (Rev. Rul. 77-367), so a named grant is acknowledgment, not advertising.<\/p>\n

Relocation at Bloom is a grant, never a loan, and a relocation runs $3,000\u2013$6,000. The grant is made by Bloom through the Relocation Fund, under the same process as every other relocation grant. The partner learns that the year\u2019s relocation was made through the Safe Passage Grant line in its quarterly impact note. It does not choose, meet or learn the name of the person who moved.<\/p><\/div><\/section>
