Do the math.

The numbers tell a story—not of statistics, but of souls.
Each one carries a prayer, a person, and a purpose.
Together they reveal why Bloom Ministries was born:
to turn compassion into measurable change and faith into action.

Anti-trans bills introduced across the U.S. in 2025.
49 states involved.
122 passed • 497 active • 381 failed.
Every number represents someone’s right to exist—and we’re answering hate with healing.

Meals, care packages, and acts of love delivered since 2016.
Before Bloom, our founder led ministries that filled empty tables, delivered Christmas meals, and helped families rebuild after loss.
That legacy now grows through Bloom’s food justice and care programs — feeding the hungry, supporting disabled neighbors, and offering the tangible love that theology often forgets to preach.

Souls we aim to serve in Bloom’s first year.
Our community includes trans people, disabled elders, queer youth, and families left behind by traditional faith systems.
Through pastoral care, food distribution, and affirming resources, we hope to restore dignity one life at a time.

The Problem

Trans and disabled people are too often pushed to the margins of faith communities. Religious trauma, poverty, medical inaccessibility, and systemic violence have turned many sacred spaces into sites of fear instead of refuge. In Oregon and across the U.S., thousands live without affirming care, stable housing, or spiritual support. Bloom Ministries was created because exclusion is not holy — it’s a wound the church must finally heal.

Our Response

We answer that wound with a living gospel of justice. Bloom offers trauma-informed spiritual care, community meals, and inclusive liturgy rooted in queer and disabled liberation. Through pastoral counseling, mutual aid, and advocacy, we create places where faith and survival meet — where prayer becomes protest and compassion becomes policy. Our digital sanctuary connects isolated people to resources, allies, and the steady truth: you are sacred, you are not alone.
