Our Journey of Becoming

Every worth building begins as a story — and Bloom’s began as a whisper in the dark.  What you see below isn’t just a timeline; it’s a testimony.

Each milestone marks a moment of grace — a prayer written in code, a law filed in faith, a dream rebuilt through pain and persistence.

From the first vision of Bloom in 2023 to our digital resurrection in 2025, this is the story of how love became architecture, justice became infrastructure, and grace became interface.

Notable Moments in our Journey

December 2023

In the depths of loss and isolation, after years of systemic failure and personal pain, Pastora Tori conceived the vision that would become Bloom Ministries.

Lying in bed on Christmas Day, grieving separation from her children and fighting despair, she chose creation over surrender — opening her laptop and beginning to build a sanctuary that could not be taken away.

January 2024

Began reaching out to legislative and disability offices, trans advocacy networks, and social service systems to gather knowledge and document systemic harm. These early months laid the intellectual and moral foundation of Bloom: to change the systems that had failed so many.

Throughout 2024

Continued intensive self-education on disability rights, trans policy, and nonprofit law while enduring chronic pain and instability. The year became one long apprenticeship in advocacy, theology, and endurance — forming the scaffolding for Bloom’s future structure and purpose.

January 2025

After five years and three days of fighting for survival, Pastora Tori was finally approved for disability benefits. Though the system still failed to offer consistent care, this moment granted limited access to internal program information and connections — fueling her drive to reform them for others.

August 2025

Amid renewed political and cultural hostility toward trans lives, Pastora Tori recognized it was time to formally establish Bloom Ministries. Despite unexpected surgery and two debilitating falls that left her bedridden, she continued designing Bloom’s frameworks, documents, and systems — building while healing.

September 2025

Near her birthday, as pain briefly eased, Pastora Tori began assembling the official incorporation packets and supporting documents for state and federal registration.

October 2025 — The Legal Birth of Bloom

October 2025 was the month Bloom Ministries became more than a dream — it became law, life, and light.  After years of vision, pain, and perseverance, the papers were finally signed and filed.

The Articles of Incorporation were officially submitted to the Oregon Secretary of State, marking the legal founding of Bloom Ministries as a domestic religious nonprofit — a sanctuary for trans, disabled, and marginalized souls written into existence.

Alongside that filing came the payment confirmation and registry number (248025090), sealing Bloom’s name in the state’s record.

For the first time, the world recognized what heaven already knew — that this ministry had purpose and form.

Soon after, the Internal Revenue Service issued Bloom its federal EIN (39-4922713), granting national identity and opening the door toward 501(c)(3) status — which would be filed as soon as she could fund it.

October 2025 became the month the vision took on flesh — when the dream that began in sorrow was recognized as a living, breathing ministry.

November 2025 — The Digital Resurrection

On November 4, 2025, Bloom Ministries filed its official application with the IRS to obtain official 501(c)(3) recognition.

Soon after, the Bloom Sanctuary Project began — a complete rebuild and relaunch of BloomMinistries.org into a fully accessible, inclusive digital sanctuary.
Guided by the End-to-End Rebuild & Cutover Plan, Bloom’s infrastructure was migrated, secured, and the site reborn.

That same month:

  • Faith by Bloom Ministries officially launched — Bloom’s church and home for sermons and theological reflection.

  • The Newsroom debuted, responding prophetically to national policy rulings.

  • The first Bloom Church Sermon was scheduled for publishing, beginning the rhythm of weekly worship..

November 2025 became the month Bloom stood upright — rooted in pain, built in faith, and ready to serve the world that still needs healing.

Our story is still unfolding.
New milestones are added every month as Bloom continues to grow — through new sermons, new partnerships, and new acts of grace.
