Relocation Transition

You got out. Nobody told you that safe and easy are different things, or that the month after the move is frequently the hardest part.

Who It Is For

People who recently left somewhere unsafe.

Whether Bloom funded the move or you managed it yourself. The relocation programs that exist — ours included — are overwhelmingly focused on the departure, and then a person lands and the support structure quietly ends at exactly the point the real work starts.

What comes up: knowing nobody, finding care and providers from scratch, guilt about people left behind, the disorientation of being safe and still miserable, money in a new cost-of-living, and the specific strangeness of relief that does not feel like relief yet.

Everyone in this room has done the same thing. Nobody needs the danger you left explained to them, which means you get to talk about what came after.

How it runs
