Bloom Charter Fund

A declaration that
can still be changed.

Most founding documents are frozen the day they are published. The Bloom Charter is built to be amended by the people who sign it — which takes real infrastructure to do safely.

Support the Charter

What this fund keeps running.

  • The platform itself — hosting, database, and the application that serves the Charter to the world
  • The constitutional governance system, where community suggestions move through review to publication without any single person able to quietly edit the core
  • Verification work that keeps endorsement counts honest rather than inflated by bots
  • Ongoing drafting and stewardship as the document grows

✎

Why a charter at all

In the 1830s the Chartists put six demands on a sheet of paper and collected millions of signatures for a standard of dignity that did not yet exist in law. Every one of those demands but one is now ordinary. A named, signed, public standard is not a symbolic act — it is how a moral position becomes something institutions eventually have to answer to.

⚖

Read it before you fund it

The full Charter lives on its own platform, free to read and free to sign. Nobody should fund a document they have not read.
