Bloom Swaps happen at host venues in Oregon and Washington. Hosts are being signed in Portland metro and Salem first, and a swap can come to any city where a host lends a room. Wherever you are, the list tells you when one is set near you.
The board

Dates are set with each host at least sixty days ahead, and the list hears two weeks before a swap near you. No date is promised until it is on this board.
An empty board is an honest board. A swap appears here only after a host has agreed a date and Bloom has entered it, two weeks before the day.

How it happens
How a city gets a swap.
A swap comes to a city when someone there lends a room. Everything else, Bloom brings.
A host offers a room
A congregation, campus group, clinic or community organization tells Bloom about its space.
A date is set together
At least sixty days ahead, once the host has said yes to the playbook and its conduct rules.
The list hears
Two weeks before the day, everyone on the list in that region gets one message with the venue, the hours and the access line.
Bloom brings the swap
Racks, clothes, signage and volunteers arrive the day before, and everything leaves the day after.

Why only Oregon and Washington?
Bloom owns, stores and delivers the clothes for every swap, so swaps go where Bloom can bring racks the day before and collect them the day after. For now that means Oregon and Washington, starting nearest Salem and Portland. How a swap works.
My city is not listed. Will a swap come here?
It can, if a host offers a room. Join the list and choose Elsewhere, or tell Bloom about a space if you know one.
Can I travel to a swap in another city?
Yes. Every swap is open to anyone who walks in, wherever they live, and nobody asks where you came from. Your first swap walks through the day.
Is there a clothing swap near me right now?
If one is announced, it is on the board above with its venue, dates and hours. If the board is empty and you cannot wait, tell us what you need; a person replies within one business day.
