The Team
One person builds, a board governs, volunteers extend it.
Pastora Tori Matthews — Founder, President, and Executive Pastora. Currently performs the majority of operational, pastoral, and technical work across the organization. Compensation: $0. Full profile →
Sara Brown — Secretary and Board Member. Provides governance oversight and fulfills the corporate secretary function required of an Oregon nonprofit.
Volunteers — a growing group handling directory auditing, administrative work, and specific skilled tasks. Volunteers are not listed publicly by name for their own safety and privacy, which is a policy we hold rather than an oversight.
We would rather tell you this organization is two people and a volunteer base than imply a staff we do not have. It is also why our response times are human-paced.
This will change as Bloom grows. When paid staff exist, they appear here and their compensation appears as a published line on the Accountability page — not discovered later in a filing.
This is the part where you could be on the list.
The gap between what Bloom does and what Bloom could do is almost entirely a capacity gap. Grant writing, bookkeeping, and nonprofit legal expertise are the most acute needs right now.
