      What Your Monthly Gift Sustains

      $25 / month $300 over a year. Covers trauma-informed outreach materials, community communications, and pastoral care resources for one full month of ministry operations.
      $50 / month $600 over a year. Directly contributes to travel assistance — gas, bus fare, or flight support — for a trans person relocating from a hostile state to safety in Oregon.
      $100 / month $1,200 over a year. Funds one full month of advocacy research, verified resource publication, casework support, and direct crisis accompaniment for multiple individuals and families.
      $250 / month $3,000 over a year. Sustains emergency housing navigation, legal resource development, and direct crisis response — covering real costs for real people who have nowhere else to go.
      $500 / month $6,000 over a year. Sponsors multiple trans relocations, sustains core operational infrastructure, and makes possible the programs that will one day include the Bloom Directory and Bloom Campus.

      Every fund below is real, separately tracked, and reported separately. Restricted gifts stay restricted — we do not quietly reallocate a directed gift to cover something else.

      Where It Goes

      The case for giving monthly, made honestly.

      Here is the actual mechanic, without the fundraising language. When someone contacts us needing to leave a state by the fifteenth, we have to decide on the eighth whether we can commit. If our income is unpredictable, the responsible answer is often “we will try to raise it” — and that answer is functionally a no, because they cannot plan a move around a maybe.

      Recurring donors change that math entirely. A known monthly floor is what lets us commit on the eighth. It is not that monthly gifts are larger — most are small. It is that they are knowable, and knowability is the thing that converts into a yes.

      One-time gifts matter enormously too, particularly large ones and particularly when a fund is drawn down. But if you are choosing between fifty dollars once and fifteen dollars a month, the fifteen does more work here, and we would rather tell you that than take the bigger number today.

      Cancel any time, from your own account, without contacting anyone or explaining yourself. There is no retention call and no guilt sequence. That is a promise we can make because we would rather have donors who stay by choice.

      Bloom Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 39-4922713. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows and a receipt is issued automatically. Our status is verifiable through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.

      How payment is handled

      Payments are processed by Stripe at nonprofit rates. Bloom never sees or stores your card number. Your name is never published or sold, and we do not trade or rent donor lists to anyone, for any reason.

      The founder takes no salary, so the overwhelming majority of every dollar goes to program. Real operating costs still exist — hosting, payment processing fees, insurance, filing fees — and we publish those rather than pretending a nonprofit can run on nothing.       Any time, yourself, from your account. No phone call, no email chain, no retention offer. Changing the amount works the same way.

      Yes. Restricted gifts are tracked and reported separately and are not reallocated. In the unusual case that a fund is ever fully met with money left over, we would contact directed donors and ask before moving anything.

      No. We send infrequent updates and occasional asks. Fundraising email is not sent alongside crisis content or daily faith content — those streams are kept deliberately separate. Unsubscribe is one click and carries no follow-up.

      Never, unless you explicitly ask to be listed. Donor names are not published, not sold, not rented, and not traded with peer organizations.
